It never asks for your YouTube password or account access, reads only publicly visible comments, and cannot post, edit or delete anything on your channel. It is funded by ads on its article pages, never on the draw screens.
CommentDraw picks a random winner from the comments on a public YouTube video — no account, no installation, and free for the first 1,000 comments.
The core tool is free because ads on the article pages cover the running costs. An optional one-time Pass exists for very large videos, but no giveaway is ever locked behind it.

CommentDraw started with a simple observation: creators were picking giveaway winners by scrolling through hundreds of comments and pointing at one — a process that is slow, error-prone, and hard for viewers to trust. We built a tool that does the same job in seconds, transparently and verifiably.
The tool fetches the comments of the YouTube video you choose through the official YouTube Data API, applies the filters you set — keywords, minimum likes, one entry per user — and selects winners with an unbiased random draw. Nothing is hand-picked, and every eligible comment has the same chance.
CommentDraw is free and requires no account. We keep it that way by showing a limited number of ads on our content pages — never inside the draw experience itself. Alongside the comment picker, we also offer a spin wheel for name-based draws, plus guides that help creators run giveaways that comply with YouTube's rules.

I started it after watching a friend run a channel giveaway by scrolling comments for twenty minutes on stream and eyeballing a winner. Half the chat accused them of picking a regular. The problem was not honesty, it was that there was no way to show the pick was fair. That is the problem this tool solves.

“Random” is easy to claim and hard to verify, so here is exactly what happens when you press the draw button:
Two limits worth stating plainly: we read up to the first 1,000 comments a video returns, so on very large videos the pool is a subset rather than every single comment; and we can only see comments YouTube makes publicly available, so anything held for review or removed by a channel filter is not in the pool. Both apply equally to everyone, but you should know them before you announce a prize.
CommentDraw's core tool is free and has no accounts. The site is funded by ads placed on the article and information pages, plus an optional one-time Full Draw Pass for videos larger than the free limit.
Ads are deliberately kept off the draw screens themselves. When you are running a giveaway in front of an audience, the last thing you need is a banner next to the winner's name. That decision costs revenue and it stays.
